Episode 8 Teaser

Talking with Mandie Englert, who was my guest for Episode 8. Her episode is amazing. She’s raising two sons from her marriage to her ex-husband and also the son of her ex-fiance, who she tried to love through his drug addiction. She also talks in Part II (I had so much great content I had to break it into two episodes) about how raising special needs kids led her to start a support group for other local parents of special needs kids.

Mandie is awesome. Everything she does is to help others. And she just kicks ass. But this moment came up while editing the audio for part one and I about died laughing all over again listening to it, as much as I did recording it.

Enjoy, and come back for Episode 8 (or, better yet, become a Patron for as little as $1, and hear it today)!

Episode 7 Teaser

Episode 7 is up on Patreon and it’s a really good one. Faye Smith gets real honest about the examples she sets for her kids – the good, the bad, and the ugly.

But I wanted to post this one teaser clip from that interview before it hits the major platforms because I still laugh every time I listen. It’s sick.

Have a listen!

Enjoy jail, Paul…

Grab a Drink!

Grab a Drink – Two Moms Day Drinking is coming this December!

Have you ever felt like you’re the only mom dealing with some serious stuff?

Addiction. Behavioral issues. Mental health issues. Self care. Special needs. Abuse. Rare diseases. Race. Being exclusively stay-at-home. Being an older mom in a changing world. Setting examples for your kids. Being a new mom. Being a working mom.

These are just a few of the issues we’re going to examine on Two Moms Day Drinking, a podcast set to drop in December. Each week, I will invite a mom to come have a glass of wine with me on a Saturday afternoon and we’ll discuss some heavy truths of parenting with humor and at least a few chuckles.

Because you may feel like the only mom out there dealing with hard things, but I promise you that you are not. For as little as $1 a month you can tune in each Friday starting December 6 to hear another mom talk about her hard things, communicate with other moms on our Patreon community, and take comfort in the fact that you are not alone.

You can stay updated with the podcast through our Facebook page as well. So hang in there, mama, and stay tuned for fresh episodes starting Friday, December 6.
